Journey
At JGonzo Photography, I started as most do. A leisure photographer attempting to capture my life's moments. This brings me back to 2018, living abroad in Japan, beginning my traveling adventures. I was blessed with the opportunity to travel to Eastern and Southern Asia. For several years, I used my travels to learn and progress my photography skills - even today I continue to learn and explore new methods and techniques.
Where Life Has Taken Me
I have lived a lot of lives. From living in 4 states - California, Missouri, Kansas and Texas - all before the age of 10. As I graduated high school I had worked as an AVID tutor, school security, retail, food service. Shortly after that I joined the USMC and served for 6 years, then went to manage gyms for LA Fitness. Which brings us to today, I am a full time student at The University of San Diego majoring in International Business with studies in Business Law.
Commitment
As a full time student I understand my commitments both inside and outside of my photography business. Which is why I believe that the best photos are created when there is a connection between the photographer and the subject. That's why I take the time to get to know our clients and understand their vision before we start shooting. Time management is crucial in managing a full-time school schedule along with full-time professional business. I promise to give my very best to any and all future clients.
